Tommy Paul secured his second Stockholm Open title, defeating Grigor Dimitrov 6-4, 6-3 in the final. Paul maintained an unbeaten run throughout the tournament, not dropping a single set on his way to victory.

Dominant Performance

This victory marks Paul's third ATP Tour title of the year, following wins in Dallas and at the Queen's Club. His performance in Stockholm was dominant, winning five of his eight sets with a margin of 6-3 or greater.

Despite winning only 65% of his first-serve points against Dimitrov, Paul's strategic play and clinical returns allowed him to control the rallies and secure a crucial break at 4-3 in the second set. Dimitrov, aiming to add to his 2013 Stockholm title, fought hard but couldn't match Paul's level of play.

Boosting Hopes for the ATP Finals

Paul's win significantly boosts his chances of qualifying for the ATP Finals in Turin. The title moved him to 10th in the PIF ATP Live Race to Turin, just 495 points behind eighth-placed Andrey Rublev. Paul will look to close this gap further in the upcoming ATP 500 event in Vienna.

"It's a very special place for me," Paul reflected. "This is where I got my first title a few years ago, and to come out and play the level of tennis I did this week, it's been a dream."
