By the time the renovation is complete, the Cincinnati Open will offer one of the most advanced and welcoming tennis venues in the world.
Center Court and Grandstand Court Overhaul
The heart of the campus transformation lies in the redesign of the iconic Center Court and Grandstand Court. A sleek, continuous facade will wrap around both courts, giving the venue a refreshed, modern look. The new facade is set to blend seamlessly into the surrounding park-like landscaping, bringing a natural and vibrant atmosphere to the entire facility.
New Sunken Stadium Court
Adding to the excitement, a new 2,000-seat sunken stadium will be constructed just south of the Grandstand Court. This addition will become the fourth largest court at the venue, offering spectators an up-close and personal view of world-class tennis action. The stadium’s sunken design will provide a unique viewing experience, allowing fans to feel even closer to the matches.

Expanding for the Future: A 31-Court Tennis Haven
By 2025, the Cincinnati Open will expand to include 31 courts, up from the current 21 planned for 2024. This expansion will accommodate the growing size of the tournament, which will feature 96-player ATP and WTA singles fields, making it one of the largest tennis events in the world. The additional courts, including 10 brand new ones, will ensure that the tournament can handle the increasing demands from players, fans, and broadcasters.
Fan-Focused Enhancements
A key element of the 2025 transformation is the focus on creating a world-class fan experience. The addition of a permanent Fan Plaza, complete with an expansive canopy, will provide a shaded, comfortable space where visitors can relax and enjoy the festivities. The redesigned North Entrance will offer a more welcoming and efficient entry experience, reducing congestion and improving access to the venue.
Food and beverage options will also see a significant upgrade, with a reimagined Food and Beverage Plaza featuring more shade and greenery than ever before. Fans will be able to enjoy local cuisine in a pleasant, park-like setting, further enhancing their overall experience.
A World-Class Player Experience
At the heart of the Cincinnati Open's commitment to excellence is its dedication to the players. A brand new, 56,000 square-foot, two-story player center will be constructed, offering unparalleled amenities to the athletes. This state-of-the-art facility will include lounge and restaurant spaces, wellness and recovery rooms, and expanded locker room areas. The new player building will also feature an outdoor terrace, providing a private and relaxing space for players to unwind between matches.
The existing Paul Flory Player Center will undergo extensive renovations, with additional locker room space and an upgraded fitness center that will cater to the athletes’ needs during the tournament.
Pickleball, Padel, and Indoor Tennis
The transformation of the Cincinnati Open campus isn’t just about tennis. In addition to the new outdoor courts, the renovation plans include a six-court indoor tennis facility, designed to accommodate year-round play. Additionally, six pickleball courts and two padel courts will be added to the campus, diversifying the sporting opportunities for visitors.
